Dan’s house. They are one – the house of Dan and Dan himself, so I want to write them together, in a single word, as they say that is not divided, not disconnected, do not happen in the state, which they say is – part. Domdena – whole, entire world, which is why there is, and the other reason for this does not exist. If I tell you how many rooms there, how tall ceilings and the scrape of the storm wind roof, it will be only a description, but not the essence.
Domdena – a house, built by a man who loves his land, ocean, flowers, trees, animals and people. In his house, and no one ever will be closely it – big, warm, comfortable home. It is a beautiful house, where all things have their place, a purpose, which is clear and the host and the guest. Dan – one of those people who know (because it is given to know) what their own purpose in the world. He knows what his eyes see the sun, and his feet feel the ground, why did God give him the mind and heart. He knows this is natural, as he knows his strength and the will necessary to get around the mountain, if it can not be moved. For it does not matter the talk of love, for it is love itself, for him there are no words about the case, and is the very thing … I try to explain what we mean when we talk about a person that he – the real, the feelings that they are – genuine, the relationship that they – sincere, but the thoughts that they – clean. We do not explain endlessly to each other that it is. We understand or do not understand. Given to understand or do not know. No matter what I say now – humanist, philanthropist – it will only be a part of what people call in his letters to Dan magic and fairy tale.
These are the main Domedena my words, a house that can withstand and stormy, squally winds and the arrival of thirty guests and children’s party at the … eleven young people, and do not flinch from accidentally broken glass or spilled a bowl of soup. This – Domdena, he invented it, and built himself.
Dan would learn about our country and how it lives in adults and children. He saw the adults with a lost look that avoids eye contact with each other, and seem to have forgotten how to smile forever in their daily concerns. He saw the children in orphanages (such simply is not in his country) and in the streets, and decided (they decided to Helen), a society of friends Dinesminde that will help people in our country. They have done this for more than ten years ago, and for many years this society – the main business of their lives. Additionally, Dinesminde – a huge farm, this farm where the animals (a lot of them) require daily care and supervision, the land is own family, their own health, which does not come with age.
Dan – Danish farmer, founder of social relief organization “Friends Dinesminde”, which for more than ten years, almost every day has different types of humanitarian aid (things, education, leisure, professional exchange, health-care services) of Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Romania and Albania. He and they (the members of the organization) were not forced and no one instructed them “in the name of …”. Themselves, voluntarily and for free, work on sorting things and cargo, drive buses with children and adults, organizing food, health care, leisure at home to those who are invited to relax and learn. They pay their contributions to the organization and are able to find sponsors to three large trucks per week (over ten years) were taken beds and mattresses, shoes and boots, T-shirts, tights, bed sheets, pillow cases, and hundreds of other things to those who need it. They collected money in the country and bought a bus, which will come (and have already visited many times) in Denmark, children, teachers, farmers, doctors, social workers, customs officers, to learn to look at life differently, to believe in their ability to improve their lives .
Dan reads not only newspapers, but also books of Sakharov, Solzhenitsyn and many others with whom he is not afraid to learn, and Dan learns life.
Many people in the world know about how and what is happening in Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine … – In all countries, which brings together the Soviet Union. A lot of people do not use this knowledge in their lives, and cast as a random or unnecessary. For some, it is just an example of the exotic life of the device, for someone – the information necessary for their own careers. There is also interested in maintaining poverty, lawlessness and darkness in our country. Most people – indifferent to the life in the country, which seems distant and alien.
Dan and a lot of people in his country (all in Denmark – 5 million people in the organization Dan – 200) are able to think about the general human home – planet Earth, they take your house and experience as part of their country – Denmark, and it – as part of the home – the planet.
Taking a decision, they are always thinking about how things work. When Dan made the decision on the establishment of the organization, he believed that the people in our country need to learn not to be afraid to think for themselves and believe in themselves. He believed and believes that by looking at the lives of others, one can understand that his own life is determined by the mind, the will, the house, the children, the future, freedom and labor – is the essence of the human in man. Children can be learned quickly, they have to learn to see life with my own eyes and believe in their ability to live with dignity by their own labor. Dan believes in the power of man.
